Test d'écoute
Going back to my previous post reminded me of a listening test in French class.
The night before the test, I had spontaneously decided to go to a Weezer concert by myself. A friend had cancelled because of wisdom teeth surgery so I didn’t get tickets and wasn’t planning to go. Then at the last minute on the day of the show, I found myself at the box office, getting in line for tickets...

I just watched Hot Chip on Jools Holland performing “Night & Day”. Remember, Hot Chip? (Are you ready? They’re baaack). When they got to the chorus, it immediately reminded me of another song, “Night by Night” by Chromeo. To the likes of ‘we can work it’, apparently night by night or night and day. Just waiting for someone’s clever mash-up now.
